The MULTIFERM technology, which has already won the PowerUP! innovative sustainable energy national contest, won 3rd prize at the international finals in Budapest.
This technology, which uses biodegradable waste as a raw material for the production of solid fuel, was developed by VIA ALTA as an innovative and progressive sustainable energy solution for direct energy use.
MULTIFERM technology is not only a reactor that is able to ensure the homogenization and hygiene of the input material, but is primarily an environmentally friendly method of energy utilization of biodegradable waste, helping to reduce the amount of BRO landfilling and expanding the possibilities of its further utilization.
