In the Industrial property office was issued a patent for Waste thermoplastic composites consisting of waste thermoplastic binder and filler in the form of waste glass from photovoltaic panels.

The composite comprises a binder which can be thermoplastics such as PET, PP, PE, HDPE, LDPE, ABS, PA, POM and PVC or mixtures thereof, and a filler, such as glass waste from photovoltaic panels and ferrous stabilizing agent. Waste glass is made of glass scraped off or detached from the photovoltaic panel.

The composite resulted from the treatment of waste materials is a further useful raw material for the prefabricated production of building and ornamental parts where, due to its utility properties and the economic advantage given by the treatment of waste, it fully replaces the conventional input raw materials.
