A prototype of a laboratory extruder was developed especially for melting waste thermoplastics from sorting lines. Now a laboratory extruder is used to test the meltability of various materials. Based on the test results, an industrial plant with many times higher capacity will be designed. The prototype of the extruder is equipped with a cleaning head, which is designed to separate impurities and impurities from the melt. After cleaning, it is possible to form a regranulate from the melt.
The efficiency of the extruder is 30 - 100 kg / h with regard to the purity of the input materials and the quality of the output material. The screw diameter is 80 mm and the length is 1450 mm. The extruder drive is 5.5 kW.
