Last week there was a kick off meeting of a project called Kaloman, which addresses the issue of sewage sludge, especially the sanitation of this waste for subsequent use. VIA ALTA in the role of another researcher, together with the Technical University and the State Health Institute, was invited to solve the project by ASIO TECH, spol. s.r.o.
The aim of the project is to verify five sludge sanitation technologies aimed primarily at smaller sources of pollution on an operational scale. VIA ALTA is in charge of verifying the sanitation in aerobic conditions of a closed bioreactor. Furthermore, the development and optimization of equipment for thickening excess sludge will be performed.
